I'd like to wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
The blog has been around for a little over a year now and it's been an interesting year, I have found a large number of addons which I have tried to share with you, the readers. I hope I have given you some hints on what's out there.
Paul Holstein has repainted this model by Rick Sasala of the C-2 Greyhound which is the transport verison of the E-6 Hawkeye. The model and panel are very nice of this cool aircraft.
Pierre Marchadier and a bunch of other authors has put together this nice model and panel of the E-6C Hawkeye with French livery paints. The panel and model are very nice and the only thing that I thought were missing were the sideviews in the 2D panel.
If you would like to find out more about the Hawkeye I recommend the wikipedia page on it which can be found here.
Edit I must add that I found another great thing about theis aircraft, two little gauges on the panel which lets me both land as on a carrier with the tailhook and takeoff with a catapult, simply amazing!!!
I'd thought I might publish some screenshots of different places in FS9, famous and not so famous. The first two below are of Mt Ranier just south-east of Seattle. Taken while doing a flight from Seattle to Dallas-Fort Worth as American 1685 in a MD83.
AFS Design has released its new Airbus, the upcoming A350 model. Looks nice. He also has a number of other models available at the site which looks interesting, among others the A320 family which I have mentioned here before.
New textures for the base package by Greg piper and Tom Gibson, updated model by Georg Hauzenberger and new textures by Hans Hermann. The base model can be found here.
I've been a flightsimulator fan since 1994 when I took my first small steps in Microsofts Flightsimulator 5.1.
The idea for this blog sprung out of the lack of good and updated flightsimming blogs. The main idea behind this blog is to share news, information, links concerning flightsimming.
My ambition for this blog is to keep it quite simple and focused on the things that I as a flightsimmer want to know myself. Hopefully it will be the same as you like to know.
I hope to gather good freeware and payware links and have a nice way of sifting through them all.
If you find anything interesting please feel free to leave a comment.
