Among other things they have a cool screening process with a checkride when you join and one as you move up in the ranks. I've completed my 150 hours last week and was eligible for the Captains checkride. After a challenging flight all by hand from Dallas-Forth Worth to Houston that took me 1.3 hours, made a SID, three loops in a holding pattern, a descent with altitude and speed restrictions along the STAR, and an ILS approach and then it was finally done.
I did pass and felt really, really glad about it! It felt great and is one of those things I will remember for a long time as a proof of my ability in the flightsimming world!
Contrails pro adds more realistic looking contrails to your and ai aircraft in fsx and fs9. It also adds a lot more adaptability and custom settings to your contrails.
Vauchez has designed this scenery of Dinard/St Malo which claims to be a great scenery and on the edge of what can be done with reasonable frame rates within fs9.
Oh I just have to mention this repaint of the Beech 18S from Shupe et al. The base model can be downloaded here and is a recommended aircraft it is just plane awsome.
Fabio Cabral has made a repaint of FS KBT's Lockheed Electra II for fsx and what a beauty it is, I want fsx too now! Or if someone would like to make a shiny American repaint of the fs9 Electra model I linked to a couple of weeks ago? :)
A very cool repaint of the Cessna 172SP Skyhawk into St Marteen colors.
Roger Wensley has been mentioned here before for his sceneries and there is a new one out of ELP, Factory Field in Quebec, Canada. It looks like a nice smaller scenery.
